RAYMOND HEW (MBA)

Raymond Hew is a Malaysian entrepreneur, business leader and brand builder with extensive experience in business development, marketing, branding and entrepreneurship.

He is the Founder & Group CEO of Yu Pavilion Sdn Bhd, Brand Owner of RASA HERITAGE, and Founder & Group CEO of H Durian Orchard Farm. Through these ventures, he is actively involved in developing Malaysian heritage-inspired brands, tourism experiences and locally rooted products, with a vision of bringing the distinctive flavours, culture and stories of Penang and Malaysia to a wider international audience.

Raymond holds a Master of Business Marketing from Asia Metropolitan University and a Degree in Business Marketing from the University of Hertfordshire, Hatfield, United Kingdom. His academic background in business and marketing complements his practical experience in entrepreneurship, corporate development and brand building.

His achievements in the business community have received notable recognition. He was a recipient of the Malaysia Top 50 Enterprise Award, presented by former Prime Minister of Malaysia Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, and was honoured with the 2019 McMillan Woods Global Award – Exemplary Leadership of the Year.

Beyond his business career, Raymond is actively involved in education, youth development and the SME community. He serves as Deputy Chairman of Persatuan Pengakap Daerah Georgetown (Utara), Negeri Pulau Pinang, Board Director of the Heng Ee Four Schools in Penang, Vice Chairman of the PIBG of Heng Ee High School, and Treasurer of SME Entrepreneur Penang.

He is also a Member of the Penang Chinese Chamber of Commerce and a Member of CEA – Chinese Entrepreneur Association Penang, strengthening his involvement and network within Penang’s business and entrepreneurial community.

His involvement across business, education, entrepreneurship and community organisations reflects his belief that business leadership goes beyond commercial success. He is committed to creating sustainable brands, preserving Malaysian heritage, developing opportunities for the next generation, supporting education and youth development, and contributing positively to society.

Born and raised in Penang, Ms. Esther Tan Swee Li is a proud descendant of Nyonya heritage. Growing up surrounded by the rich aromas of Nanyang coffee and traditional spices, her passion for her homeland's culinary heritage runs deep.

Recognizing that many traditional culinary arts were fading in the fast-paced modern world, Ms. Tan felt a strong sense of purpose to preserve her family’s legacy. This devotion led her to establish RASA HERITAGE.

As the leader of RASA HERITAGE, Ms. Esther Tan blends sharp business vision with the delicate craftsmanship of Nyonya tradition:

Preserving Authenticity: She personally leads product refinement, upholding traditional slow-roasting secrets to ensure every cup restores the smooth, authentic Nanyang flavor of classic Penang.

JUNE HEW

June Hew holds a Degree in Business Administration from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM).

She brings valuable corporate and client management experience, having previously served as a Regional Client Department Executive with a U.S.-listed company in the healthcare sector, where she was involved in regional client coordination, relationship management, and administrative operations.

In her role as Regional Business Development Representative – Central Malaysia, June represents the company in developing business opportunities and strengthening its presence across the Central Malaysia region.

Her responsibilities include business development, corporate engagement, strategic partnerships, client relationship development, brand representation, and market expansion, with a particular focus on building long-term relationships with corporate clients, business partners, distributors, and strategic stakeholders.

Through her professional experience and understanding of business administration and client relations, June supports the continued market development of RASA HERITAGE and the broader business interests of Yu Pavilion Sdn Bhd in Central Malaysia.
